The group
The stated aim of the group is to promote research in Bayesian inference and to disseminate its results among SEIO members, in the scientific community and in society at large.
Its activity consists mainly of scientific sessions at the SEIO national congresses and of the International Workshop on Bayesian Statistics, held for the first time in 2024 and for the second in 2026. Sessions reserved for early-career researchers are a regular part of both.

Membership
Membership is open to SEIO members who work on or with Bayesian methods. To join the group, to correct an entry in the internal directory or to propose an activity, write to the coordinators. Membership of the Society itself is handled by SEIO.
